ABOUT US
Our Mission
To provide strategic level continuous development for HR professionals
and other business/non-profit general managers in the areas of
optimizing organizational and human performance; and, to provide
networking opportunities to meet with and share knowledge in a safe,
collaborative environment.
The
Pacific Northwest HR Strategic Forum (PNW HRSF), an affiliate of The
Human Resources Planning Society (HRPS), is a non-profit organization
whose primary purpose is education, networking and the advancement of
the practices, technology and theory of HR planning.
Reflective of its NW environment, the PNW HRSF enables diverse
leading-edge HR practitioners in business, consulting and academia in
Washington, Oregon and Idaho to obtain and exchange the latest emerging
HR ideas, information and experiences in a professional yet informal
environment.

Support of our Mission, PNW HRSF
- Offers
Strategic Speaker Forums that feature distinguished human resource
scholars, practitioners and business leaders.
- Provides
Senior Practitioners’ Forums where the Senior HR leadership from a
diverse group of corporations headquartered in the Northwest share
information on key business issues and strategic HR imperatives
within their organizations.
- Initiates
corporate and academic partnerships and establishes networks to add
value to our members.

Affiliation
As an affiliate of the
HRPS, the PNW HRSF and its members benefit from the expertise and
research resources of the parent society. Our members also enjoy
reciprocal privileges with the HRPS’s other affiliates and partner
organizations within the U.S. and Canada and can attend their programs
at member prices.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer
opportunities vary in both the activities and the amount of time
commitment needed. If you are interested in volunteering and/or would
like more information about volunteer opportunities, please send an

and you will be contacted by a Board or Committee Member.)
Board of Directors:
If you would like to be heavily involved with the PNW HRSF consider
volunteering for a position on the Board of Directors.
The president elect
position is elected by the membership and serves in the position for 1
year. The next year it succeeds
to the President position for a year and then to the Past President position
for a year,
serving on the Board for a total 3 year commitment.
The other Board
positions serve 2 year staggered terms. Members volunteer for the
positions, which are approved by the Board directly. Treasurer and
Secretary serve as Affiliate Officers and members of the Executive
Committee along with the President, President-Elect and Past President.
The Director at Large positions provide overall direction and serve as
chair or members of various standing committees.
