Jon Anastasio
Vice President, Learning and Development
Nordstrom, Inc.

Jon is in his seventh year at Nordstrom, Inc., and leads the Learning and Development function for the corporation.

Jon began his career in 1978 as a Lecturer at Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey after completing his Ed.D. degree at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. In 1980, he moved to the John F. Kennedy Medical Center as the Director of Training and Education. After three years in his role, he moved to Bankers Trust Company in New York City where he designed and delivered management training seminars and workshops. In 1985 Jon joined Citibank’s Northeast Consumer Banking Division to lead management training the New York-area.

In 1987, Jon moved to Boston to develop company-wide management training for Bank of Boston, and served as Director of Corporate Training. In 1990 he joined Fidelity Investments where he held numerous organizational development roles in Corporate Human Resources and Fidelity’s retail organization. Before moving to Seattle to Join Nordstrom, Jon worked for State Street Corporation in Boston as the Vice President of Executive Development.

Jon relocated to Seattle in 1999 to begin his Nordstrom career.
