Dave Ulrich
Professor of Business Administration
University of Michigan
The Pacific Northwest Human Resource Strategic Forum is
thrilled to announce a day in Seattle with Dave Ulrich! Dave is a Professor of
Business Administration at the University of Michigan, and has been rated as one
of the world's top management Consultants. BusinessWeek says that "Ulrich gets
the top marks because execs say he does the best job taking the time to
understand a company's actual operations. Says Frank T. Morgan, global director
of executive development and leadership at Dow Chemical in Midland, Mich.: "Most
academics aren't very practical, and Dave is very practical. He's not just going
to give us theory, he's going to apply it and show what it means."
His teaching and research addresses the question: how to create an organization
that adds value to employees, customers, and investors? He studies how
organizations change quickly, build capabilities, learn, remove boundaries, and
leverage human resource activities.
The morning session, beginning at 8:30 am, is a Special Invitation event open
only to HRSF Corporate and Consulting Sponsors and Partners. The afternoon
session, from 1:00 - 3:30 pm, will be open to a wider audience of members and
guests. In this session, Dave will focus on What's Next for HR Creating
Value: What are the HR Practices, Organization, and Professional Competencies
that will make a difference going forward. We anticipate that this event will
sell out quickly, so register today to secure your reservation. Don't miss this
special opportunity to hear from this top-rated teacher, speaker and consultant.
