Barbara Magusin
Senior Vice President, HR, Premera Blue Cross

Barbara Magusin is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Premera Blue Cross. Magusin has oversight responsibility for all human resources activities including recruiting, compensation, benefits, training and associate relations.

Magusin has extensive leadership experience in HR strategy, leadership development and coaching, change management and performance evaluation systems. She also oversees the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative for Premera and its charitable giving organization, Premera Cares. Prior to joining Premera, Magusin served as an independent consultant, providing valuable HR consultation to organizations such as Washington Dental Service and Applied Materials. She was Vice President of Human Resource Planning and Development for Ceridian Corporation, where she also served as Director of Training and Development. She has held various positions in Human Resources for Sea-Land Services, Inc., Paccar Financial Corporation, and the former Seafirst Bank.

Magusin is a graduate of University of California at Santa Barbara and holds an MA in Education from California Lutheran University.
