Elizabeth King
Director of Organizational Development, ESCO

Elizabeth King is the Director of Organization Development for ESCO Corporation at its corporate headquarters located in Portland, Oregon. ESCO Corporation, www.escocorp.com, begun in 1913, is a privately held global steel manufacturing company.

Elizabeth serves as a member of the ESCO steering committee that began the implementation of Lean (lean processing) -- called QVS (Quality, Value, Speed). Elizabeth will speak to the QVS initiative that focused on not only manufacturing; but, the functional areas, including the HR department.

As a leading expert in lean processing, Elizabeth was appointed by Governor Kulongoswki, and is currently serving as the Chair of the Oregon Workforce Development Board and co-chaired the Oregon Statewide manufacturing strategy.
