Erin Kittleman Erin Kittleman, HR Executive for Esterline Technologies, has HR responsibility for 6 divisions located in the Northwest, California, and the Mid-West. Erin led and will speak to the work that brought Lean (lean processing) into the HR function at one division in particular – Korry Electronics located in Seattle. Esterline, www.esterline.com, is a global aerospace company providing more than 10,000 products for aerospace and defense markets. Headquartered in Bellevue, WA, Esterline has 29 facilities in the U.S. and Europe. Noted as world-class lean manufacturer, Esterline is a popular tour destination for many companies seeking to learn more about Lean. In addition to its manufacturing operations, Esterline has been implementing lean throughout the enterprise. Lean is part of the culture of Esterline, not just a process. Prior to joining Esterline, Erin’s was heavily involved in Continuous Improvement efforts with Boeing and Xerox and taught process improvement, problem solving and team skills in the early 90’s at Boeing. Erin worked in Sales and Marketing for Xerox and was responsible for leading the Continuous Improvement efforts in Seattle during the years Xerox applied for and later won the Malcome Baldrige award. |
