Colleagues:

Welcome to 2012!  Last year marked our 7^th year as an affiliate, and it felt like a lucky year indeed. Even in an environment where we all work longer, harder and faster than ever before, we welcomed many new faces and successfully grew our membership. We’re also proud that the nearly 70 attendees at our Fall Conference told us it was among our best programs to date.

Of course, it wasn’t all luck – we have a dedicated group of volunteer Board members who work hard to deliver on our value proposition, ably led by Pete Shipp in 2011. For 2012, I’m pleased to welcome several new volunteers to our Board and various working committees. Mary Carvour from Coaxis joins the Board as a Director at Large and will also serve on the Communications & Marketing Committee, along with Jeff Turner from Praxis HR. And, Matthew Crook from Farmers Life Insurance will join the Programs Committee.
 

Our Programs Committee is lining up great things for this year – stay tuned for updates later in January. In the meantime, I hope you’ll visit us on LinkedIn to connect with your peers in the Northwest.
